The U-M Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) offers outstanding undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to conduct intensive research across a variety of disciplines. Students from racial and ethnic minority groups, first-generation U.S. citizens, low-income family backgrounds, and first-generation college students are especially encouraged to apply. The goal of SROP is to prepare students for advanced studies in a Ph.D. program at U-M.
